HOMEMATE

Terms and Conditions.

The rules that keep customers, professionals and HOMEMATE aligned.

Effective date: 8 August 2026

These Terms govern use of the HOMEMATE marketplace by customers, service providers, administrators and staff. By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced below.

1. Marketplace role

HOMEMATE facilitates discovery, booking, coordination, payment records and support between customers and independent service providers. Specific service scope is described on the service page and booking record.

2. Accounts and verification

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised use. Provider accounts remain pending until approved. HOMEMATE may reject or suspend accounts for fraud, safety risk, policy violations or inaccurate documents.

3. Booking and access

Customers must provide safe, lawful access to the service location. Providers must perform only accepted work, follow the recorded workflow and must not request start or completion PINs prematurely. Status changes and job photographs form part of the service record.

4. Prices, taxes and payments

The checkout breakdown controls the booked amount. Replacement parts or out-of-scope work require customer agreement and a recorded adjustment. Online payment is considered received only after server verification. Cash is recorded when collection is confirmed through job completion.

Tax review notice

Final Indian GST/TDS configuration must be reviewed by a qualified accountant or tax professional. Marketplace settings are configurable and do not constitute tax advice.

5. Cancellations, refunds and disputes

The Cancellation and Refund Policy applies. HOMEMATE may review booking history, messages, PIN verification, payments, KYC and submitted job photos to resolve disputes. Refund approval does not guarantee instant bank settlement.

6. Prohibited conduct

Users may not submit unlawful content, impersonate another person, evade platform records, misuse personal data, interfere with security controls, upload malicious files or manipulate reviews, payouts or promotions.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HOMEMATE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.

8. Changes and contact

Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
